About
This is a blog dedicated to the TV shows of the 1960′s.
As networks chase the 18 to 35 year old’s, they have left the Baby Boomers with fewer and fewer options. With the shows we grew up with disappearing from even the cable networks, the internet may be their last refuge. Some sites have posted a few of the series, however, they are often buried deep under layers of more current shows.
Goodtv.com will be a central home or “channel” for those wonderful, sometimes wacky, sometimes kitschy TV series of 60′s. We’ll provide some basic information on each episode along with a chance for you to comment. As your blogmeister has a fascination for the great character actors, past stars and future stars who often appeared in guest starring roles, you’ll see some info about them too.

Is there any chance of seeing Garrison’s Gorillas again? I loved that show and would love to see it again.

Wow! You have a good memory. That series ran for only one season in 1967. As the war in Vietnam heated up, WWII shows like Combat, Rat Patrol and Garrison’s Gorillas didn’t do so well in the ratings. Garrison’s Gorillas is currently owned by CBS. Hopefully they will allow some more of their classic series to be seen online.

I remember garrisons gorrilas from 1967, particularly the character called “chief” who wore a flick knife
up his right arm. He never missed and I tried to copy him

I was looking at your website on the 60′s TV shows list on the right side, and I do not see “Land of the Giants” listed in the sci fi section. It started in 68 and lasted to 70.

Just haven’t gotten to it yet. I will consider this a request and we’ll get to it as soon as we can. Thanks.

Sorry, but we’re not a television channel, just online. What you see is what you get.
